Family

So I know this is impressive...two blogs in one day. But, I just got done talking with my Mom on Skype...of course she was crying as usual. But I understand! I miss her too! She said my Dad was being a cry baby because I haven´t mentioned him yet so...

I miss you Daddy!! Specially making microwave popcorn late at night...they just don´t seem to do that here! How´s The Office? I can´t wait to get home and catch up on the episodes. We might have to buy the most recent season.
And before I hear from them as well about this...I miss my big brothers!! A little disappointed I haven´t received an email or anything though. It´s kind of funny because the three girls, Rachel, Erin, and Jody, all have sisters and no brothers...I´m a little jealous. They claim to be jealous as well but who knows? It'd be interesting to know life with sisters.

My Mom also said my Grandma has been lighting candles everyday for me...what a cutie! I don't know if I'll be saying "cutie" when she comes to visit and talks to everyone on the street because she can finally speak Spanish with every person she sees! I am so excited for them to visit! I have already started figuring out where I want to take them...I can´t wait to play tour guide!

I think I started writing this additional blog because I had my first little moment of being homesick. This is such a wonderful experience and I couldn't be having a better time, but I think it is completely natural to feel a little homesick. I mentioned a lot of the things I've been missing in my last blog, you start to take things for granted when you don't know life without them. I know they were a lot of silly things, but this experience puts a lot into perspective. I think the whole idea of living with someone you know little about, who speaks very little English has a lot to do with it as well.

Thank goodness for new friends! These girls have been my family and I couldn't ask for a better one!
